Heather: Denver, Colorado, United States; I live in Denver, Colorado. Home of the Rockies, the Broncos and my favorite team the Nuggets. I have lived here for 12 years. I graduated from Colorado State University after growing up with a wonderful childhood in Ault, Colorado. I did some time at the Denver Zoo as an intern in the horticulture department, a long stint at Swingle lawn and tree care, a brief stint at a local city and now am an arborist/sales for a small local tree/lawn care business. My husband and I have two beautiful boys-8, 2 yrs old. We have been in our current home for just shy of 8 years. The front yard gardens started shortly after we settled in. This begins my gardening story. Gardening/horticulture and the pursuit of this hobby is my passion and saving grace and provides me hours of work and pleasure. I love the unique and interesting plants.
